Samsung Galaxy M32 vs Galaxy M31: Specs, features comparison

A 6.4-inch Infinity U FHD+ Super AMOLED display is included in the Galaxy M32 and M31 models. However, the latest Galaxy M-series phone from the South Korean tech giant features a panel with a high refresh rate of 90 Hz.

The Galaxy M32 now comes equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 SoC rather than the Galaxy M31’s in-house Exynos 9611 chipset, for example, one of Samsung’s internal changes.Although the CPU performance on both mobile platforms is said to be nearly identical, the Exynos SoC is said to use less battery power. In addition, the new mid-range Galaxy phone now has a textured back panel rather than a plain back cover.

However, the company has cut corners in the imaging and memory sector as a result of the price reduction. The quad-camera setup of the Galaxy M31 included a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel macro, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The new Galaxy M32 has two 2-megapixel sensors, one for depth and one for macro, and the other camera configuration stays the same.

Additionally, the base model now has 4GB/64GB storage as opposed to the Galaxy M31‘s 6GB/64GB storage. The battery backup is also unchanged. The Galaxy M32 now comes with a 25W fast charge solution, which is a good thing.15W fast charging was supported by the Galaxy M31, which is pretty much standard these days.

Having said that, the new Galaxy M32 now supports Samsung Mini Pay and Dolby Atmos. It runs on Android 11, which is based on One UI 3.1.Black and blue are the two colors available for the phone.

In terms of memory and camera, the new Samsung Galaxy M32 lags behind a bit. However, the new Galaxy M-series phone is a good option if you want a phone with a large battery and a high refresh rate at a low price. We are hesitant to comment on the performance until we actually use the device and put it through its paces.
