Real-time ray tracing and NVIDA’s Deep Learning Super-Sampling (DLSS) were added to the Nvidia RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti gaming laptops.
The new GeForce RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti are the latest additions to Nvidia’s lineup of GeForce RTX laptop video cards.The newest discrete GPUs, the RTX, are intended for entry-level and compact gaming laptops.According to Nvidia, the new laptops with RTX support will be able to play Call of Duty:60 frames per second in Black Ops: Cold War.

Nvidia RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti features
Real-time ray tracing and NVIDA’s Deep Learning Super-Sampling (DLSS), which makes use of AI cores to run apps with upscaled resolution, are two notable features of the RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti video cards.The RTX 3050 has 2,048 CUDA cores, 64 tensor cores in 16 SMs, and runs at 1,500 MHz, whereas the RTX 3050 Ti has CUDA cores and 80 tensor cores.The new RTX laptop GPUs are said to offer a 4x improvement in gaming performance and a 2.5x improvement in video editing performance over the previous version.The new RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti use the Ampere architecture, just like the mobile GeForce RTX 30 series.
The company also mentioned a few things for content creators and professional esports gamers.In the RTX 30 series, Nvidia mentioned a Reflex Low Latency mode that promises frame rates of over 144 frames per second and display latencies of less than 25 milliseconds.Specifically, Studio series laptops will also include GPUs from the RTX 30 series.
“Thanks to the NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency mode, new GeForce RTX 3050 Ti laptops can deliver 144+ FPS and sub-25ms system latency in games like Overwatch, Rainbow Six Siege, and Valorant.NVIDIA Reflex is supported in seven of the top ten competitive shooter games, allowing gamers to play at their best with lower system latency.NVIDIA stated, “The entire RTX 30 Series lineup supports NVIDIA Reflex.”
Nvidia RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti availability
Beginning at $799, the brand-new Nvidia RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti graphics cards will be integrated into laptops made by Dell, HP, Lenovo, Gigabyte, MSI, and Razer.
