Lenovo has launched the first smartphone bearing the ThinkPhone brand, the Lenovo ThinkPhone by Motorola, following rumors. According to the company, it is designed with a lightweight aramid fiber that is stronger than steel, an aircraft-grade aluminum frame, and Gorilla Glass Victus, so it easily endures shocks and drops from up to 1.25 meters. It also has IP68 certification, which means that ThinkPhone is designed to withstand dust and water immersion with a depth of up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes. It is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and has a 6.6-inch FHD+ 144 The ThinkPhone also has the recognizable, customizable Red Key on the side, which can be used to instantly integrate the mobile and PC experiences or provide immediate access to the most essential business and field applications.

According to the company, Moto KeySafe is a separate Android-based processor that provides an additional layer of security to better safeguard the smartphone’s most sensitive data.

It also protects the data from the inside out by isolating PINs, passwords, and cryptographic keys and storing them in a tamper-resistant environment.

Lenovo ThinkPhone by Motorola introduces Think 2 Think connectivity powered by Ready For, a set of productivity experiences that enable seamless device integration between a ThinkPad and a ThinkPhone for business users. Examples of the Think 2 Think experiences are:

Quick Connect: Phone and computer seamlessly connect over Wi-Fi when nearby.
Common Clipboard: By pasting into any app on the destination device, you can transfer videos, scanned documents, recently taken photos, and copied text between devices without any problems.
Common Notifications: Telephone warnings right away show up on the Windows Activity Center. When a notification is clicked, the associated phone app automatically opens on the PC screen.
File Drop: Transfer files between your ThinkPhone and your PC with ease.
Streaming Apps: On a PC, open any Android app directly.
