As promised, Xiaomi has just unveiled the Xiaomi Civi 2, its most recent smartphone in the Civi series, in China. Dolby Vision is supported on the 6.55-inch Full HD+ 10-bit AMOLED 58° curved screen of the phone. It has custom stainless steel 2387mm2 VC liquid cooling and 6200mm2 graphite, making it one of the few phones with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.
Camera:
Inside the punch-hole, the Civi 2 has dual 32MP front cameras. One is a standard camera with autofocus, and the other is a camera with an ultra-wide angle of 100 degrees. Additionally, it has four softer LED lights. According to the company, the phone offers up to 256 layers of depth information, Bionic eyes that imitate the human eye to achieve delicate blurring, and DSLR-like portrait blur.
The texture beauty portrait features rich details, three-dimensional tone, pixel-level skin rejuvenation technology 3.0, and star-level retouching. Thanks to AI gender recognition, the skin’s texture is adjusted specifically for boys. The phone has a 20MP ultra-wide camera, a 50MP rear camera with a Sony IMX766 sensor, and a macro camera.
According to Xiaomi, the phone is the first in the world to use a 1G6P WLG glass-plastic hybrid lens that Chengrui Optics specialized in creating. This lens uses a combination of one WLG wafer-level glass lens and six plastic lenses and is more powerful than the standard 7P plastic lens.
It only weighs 171.8 grams and measures 7.23 millimeters. The phone has a 4500mAh battery that can be charged to 100% in 40 minutes and is compatible with 67W fast charging.
The phone is available in a white Hello Kitty special edition model in addition to the standard model. This has dual fine polishing, rich layers, and double-layer patterns, giving it a delicate feel in the hands. At the nanoscale, the grooves are layered on top of each other to produce shadow and light in three dimensions. The model comes in a special box that contains a Hello Kitty Custom Lipstick Power Bank: a pouch, a 5000mAh battery, and a Hello Kitty figurine.
