Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 launch with Intel, AMD options offered
Microsoft asserts that it has increased performance by up to 70% over the Surface Laptop 3 as a result of enhancements to the processor.
The most recent 11th Generation Intel processors or AMD’s Ryzen 4000 series processors power Microsoft’s new Surface Laptop 4.There are two display sizes available for the new laptop: 13.5 inches and 15 inches.In the United States, Canada, and Japan, it will be available for purchase beginning on April 15.The company hasn’t said when the device will be sold in India or which variants it will come in.

The AMD version of Microsoft’s new Surface Laptop 4 costs $999 (approximately Rs 56,146), while the Intel version costs $1,299 (approximately Rs 73,028).
Microsoft’s AMD Ryzen Edition Surface Laptop may be priced differently because it uses older AMD Zen 2-based chips rather than the most recent 5000 series processors.
Microsoft Surface Laptop 4: Specifications
Microsoft claims that it has increased battery life and achieved up to 70% more performance than the Surface Laptop 3 thanks to improvements in the processor.The design of the new Surface Laptop 4 is the same as its predecessor.It will be available in the traditional platinum Surface style as well as a new color option in ice blue made of Alcantara.In addition, metal is available in matte black and sandstone colors.Platinum and matte black metal will be the only options available for the 15-inch models.
There are two display sizes available for the device:15 inches and 13.5 inches.It can be driven by an AMD Ryzen 7 4980U processor or an Intel Core i7 of the 11th Generation.The AMD variants will be limited to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage, while the Intel variants will be available with up to 32GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage.The most recent Iris Xe graphics from Intel will be included in all Intel versions.
The company’s own Windows 10 Home operating system will be available on all models.The company asserts that the 15-inch AMD model will have a battery life of up to 17.5 hours, while the 13.5-inch model will last for up to 19 hours on a single charge.When it comes to the Intel variants, the 13.5-inch model is said to have a battery life of up to 17 hours, while the larger 15-inch model is said to have a battery life of up to 16.5 hours.
