Samsung as of late sent off its new World Book Go PC controlled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.Currently, the company intends to switch to its own Exynos chipsets for its laptops in the second half of this year.Furthermore, the chip will actually want to control both cell phones and laptops.
KED Global’s report says that the upcoming chip will be made using the 5nm manufacturing process and will be called Exynos 2200.The chipset will be paired with an AMD Radeon GPU, according to the report, to provide PC-class graphics performance.
Keep in mind that Samsung and AMD had previously stated that the products that use the new Exynos chips will not overlap with those that use AMD chips when they announced their partnership to develop chipsets.Since laptops and PCs already use AMD chips, it’s possible that the two companies signed an additional agreement.
