As promised, OnePlus has just introduced its latest smartwatch, the OnePlus Watch 2, at the MWC 2024 in Barcelona. The smartwatch’s dual chip and OS architecture is its main selling point.
The watch has a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with up to 1000 nits top brilliance, allows you to see and answer notices, including messages, settle on and answer telephone decisions over Bluetooth. It accompanies 32GB of independent stockpiling, so you can download tunes from YouTube Music and Spotify. It is viable with most Bluetooth headphones for remote music playback in a hurry.
Health Connect by Android, which provides a centralized hub for managing data permissions from multiple health and fitness apps and devices, is now supported by the OnePlus Watch 2 and the OHealth app. According to the company, users can securely sync their health data with apps that are compatible with Health Connect with permission from the user.
The OnePlus Watch 2 has over 100 sports modes, 5ATM + IP68 water and dust resistance, and military-grade durability. The watch has inherent double band GPS to follow all your movement precisely, and offers extra information for running, badminton, tennis and skiing.
It also provides stress detection, blood oxygen saturation monitoring, and heart rate monitoring, all of which can be easily managed through the OnePlus O Health app. It uses a proprietary operating system based on RTOS in addition to Wear OS, which is powered by the Snapdragon W5 chip. The watch’s 500mAh battery can last for up to 100 hours in Smart mode, and it can last up to 12 days in Power Saver mode. According to the company, it has VOOC fast charging, which provides power for the entire day in just ten minutes.
