Huawei Maimang 6 with details announced

In keeping with its earlier promise, Huawei has formally announced the Maimang 6, the company’s newest mid-tier smartphone, in China. This model succeeds the Maimang 5 from last year and boasts a 5.9-inch Full HD+ 18:9 display with 2.5D curved glass and slim bezels. It runs on an Octa-Core Kirin 659 chipset and features a 16-megapixel primary rear camera along with a 2-megapixel auxiliary camera dedicated to depth sensing. Additionally, there is a 13-megapixel front-facing camera complemented by another 2-megapixel camera.
The device sports a metal unibody construction, includes a fingerprint scanner on the rear, and is equipped with a 3340mAh battery.

Pricing and availability:
The Huawei Maimang 6 is offered in Obsidian Black, Streamer Gold, and Aurora Blue shades, retailing for 2399 yuan (approximately US$ 364 / Rs 23,600). Shipments are expected to begin on September 30, and pre-orders open today. The smartphone is expected to be globally introduced as Huawei Mate 10 Lite next month alongside the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro models.
