Huawei Mate 9 with details announced
As expected, Huawei debuted its newest high-end smartphone, the Mate 9, at an event in Germany. This gadget has a 5.9-inch display with 2.5D glass and 1080p resolution. It’s equipped with an Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 960 SoC along with an IntelliSense i6 sensor hub, operating on Android 7.0 Nougat with Emotion UI 5.0 and supports Google DaydreamVR. A second-generation Leica dual-lens combination with a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor and a 12-megapixel RGB sensor is part of the camera system. It uses Huawei’s proprietary ISP and incorporates dual-tone LED flash, laser autofocus, optical image stabilization (OIS), and a hybrid zoom with twice the magnification. Additionally, the device has an 8-megapixel camera on the front.
The device showcases a unibody aluminum construction, features a fingerprint scanner on its rear, supports 4G LTE including VoLTE, and offers a hybrid dual SIM slot that can also function as a microSD slot. It includes a 4000mAh battery equipped with SuperCharge technology (3.5-5V – 5A / 9V-2A), enabling a full day’s charge in just 20 minutes.
